BLACK FAMILY
RESTAURANTS
Black Family Restaurants is proud to be your neighborhood McDonald’s restaurant – not just a restaurant in your neighborhood. As such, we strive to be a good neighbor and a positive influence in our community. Our 16 McDonald’s restaurants support a wide variety of efforts throughout central Alabama including local churches and schools, arts and cultural events, and of course our hometown Ronald McDonald House as they provide a home away from home for families in need. For more than 30 years, we have called this area “home” and look forward to seeing you in the restaurant.

Our Story
BFR McDonald’s got its namesake in 2013 but our founder, Jim Black, got his start at the fry station in 1966.
It’s quite a story.

Community
Giving back to our community is something we do because, like our customers, we live here. Read about the efforts close to home and close to our hearts.
